Dr. Chris Ray is one of the nation’s most brilliant equine surgeons. Raised in Borger, TX, which he lovingly refers to as “God’s Country,” Chris is a country boy with a fun loving personality and some killer dance moves. After attending both Colorado State University and Texas A&M University to become an equine veterinarian and surgeon, Chris took his talents to North Texas. He opened Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery, and quickly became one of the most sought after vets in the area. He quickly befriended cutting horse trainer Craig Morris, who thought Chris would be the perfect subject for RIDE TV reality series Rock Star Vets. After years of seeing hundreds of horses in the North Texas area, Chris was offered a job as the on-site veterinarian at an equine ranch in Bozeman, Montana. Leaving Texas was a hard decision, but Chris is thoroughly enjoying life in Montana, and he loves to come back to visit Fort Worth for nights at the local steakhouse and Pete’s Piano Bar.
