Carly Twisselman grew up off the coast of central California with deep family roots in ranching and western heritage. She spent her life heavily involved in rodeo, competing in roping, barrel racing and more. Carly’s love for broadcast journalism was furthered when she received a degree from the University of California in Los Angeles in Mass Communications. Carly became a member of the Screen Actors Guild in 2010, and she has worked on numerous films and TV shows, as well as launching her modeling career as the face of Gypsy Soule and other lines. Carly was recently able to combine her passion for rodeo with her love for broadcast journalism when she joined the RIDE TV team. She has served as a sideline reporter and the host of RIDE TV original program, This Old Horse.
With the New Year underway, I'm sure that we are in many stages of our New Years' resolutions. I wanted to share with you some of my 2018 resolutions when it comes to the sport of rodeo, barrel racing and my teammate athletes, aka my barrel horses.
