Equine Network Becomes New Home For World Class Hunter/Jumper Events

September 21, 2015 – FORT WORTH, TX and SAUGERTIES, NY – Ride Television Network, Inc. and HITS, Inc. are pleased to announce their partnership in bringing high-class equestrian entertainment to television screens everywhere.

RIDE TV will deliver coverage of HITS Horse Shows to all of their carriers, including DISH Network, where the network recently launched on channel 248 on the America’s Top 250 package. As the Official Television Partner of HITS, RIDE TV will make highlighted HITS events more accessible to the public.

“RIDE TV is very proud to be associated with HITS, the largest producer of horse shows in North America,” said Craig Morris, RIDE TV President. “We are centralizing the best of the horse world on RIDE TV, and HITS makes the perfect partner to produce coverage of the very best content available from English disciplines. It is always exciting to see these events, featuring the world’s best riders competing for millions of dollars. We have said from the beginning that RIDE TV would not be focused solely on Western disciplines, and HITS is the perfect way to balance the channel.”

RIDE TV will air two one-hour television shows highlighting coverage of the Diamond Mills $500,000 Hunter Prix Finals and the Canadian Pacific $1 Million Grand Prix FEI CSI 5*, presented by Wells Fargo from the HITS Saugerties Series at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, New York. Also on tap and coming this Fall, another one-hour episode highlighting the $350,000 Sunshine Grand Prix FEI CSI 5* from the National Sunshine Series at HITS Desert Horse Park in Thermal, California.

“Like HITS, RIDE TV strives to make show jumping accessible to the masses, so our partnership is a natural fit,” said HITS President and CEO Tom Struzzieri. “Together, HITS and RIDE TV will deliver national attention to a well-deserved division of athletes which continues to confirm our commitment to growing the recognition of horse sports in the United States.”

Handling the television production for RIDE TV will once again be HITS’ Official Broadcast Partner A Good Show; creators of quality, cutting-edge network and cable sports and entertainment television.
