RIDE TV hosts Aaron Cook, former MLB All-Star and Cutting Horse-Enthusiast at Nationals Park in D.C.
June 14th, 2018, Washington, D.C. – RIDE TV will host Former MLB All-Star pitcher Aaron Cook at this week’s Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park. Cook will be joining RIDE TV throughout the game, which features Democrats facing off against Republicans and will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation, the Washington Literacy Center and the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund.
“We look forward to having MLB All Star and cutting horse-enthusiast, Aaron Cook, with us at this week’s Congressional Baseball Game,” said Michael Fletcher, RIDE TV CEO and Craig Morris, RIDE TV President. “From the horse show arena to the baseball diamond, nothing brings Americans together like sports and we look forward to this bipartisan event for charity this week at Nationals Park.”
Aaron Cook is the second most winningest pitcher in Colorado Rockies franchise history and was an MLB All Star in 2008. While the sinkerball pitcher added a cutter to his pitching repertoire late in his career, he now also rides in cutting horse competitions—an event where a rider works with his horse to separate cattle in a set time period – in his post-MLB career. He hails from Kentucky, grew up in Ohio and also pitched for the Boston Red Sox.
