FORT WORTH, TX – RIDE TV, a 24-hour cable television network dedicated to the American equestrian culture and lifestyle, became home to cable and satellite distribution expert, Michael Trujillo back in September.

Trujillo brings 25 years of leadership experience in the cable and satellite industry to RIDE TV, where he is responsible for the network’s distribution within the U.S. and internationally.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and MBA from the University of Denver, Trujillo’s career evolved into senior executive positions in the Media & Entertainment industry with expertise in new channel launches, content acquisition, contract negotiations and international programming.

“[Trujillo] makes an excellent addition to RIDE TV,” said Michael Fletcher, CEO of RIDE TV. “He brings a unique skillset to our team, and I am certain he will help us to succeed.”

Prior to joining RIDE TV, Trujillo was Vice President of Distribution at MAVTV, where he was instrumental in increasing the subscriber base of the network from five million to nearly 30 million subscribers. He made valuable contributions to the re-brand, marketing and promotion of the network as it shifted from a general entertainment to a motorsports centric service.

Michael also spent nearly seven years within the Programming Organization at Dish Network as General Manager of Dish Latino, responsible for the Hispanic programming strategy, new channel launches and contract negotiations. He led the Programming Finance and Administration group responsible for negotiating new channel launches, network renewals and financial analysis. He also served as Vice President of Operations for the Western Division of Cap Gemini Telecom & Media, and Director of Finance and Business at Hughes Electronics.

“I met Michael Fletcher and Craig Morris at an industry event, and was immediately impressed by their passion for RIDE TV. These guys are wicked smart. Through years of planning, research, lining up investors, investing in production equipment and bringing in talented individuals, we’re in a great position to succeed. I’m proud to be part of the team and confident that our unique programming will resonate with viewers within the United States and globally.”
