From family activities, to food, to nightlife, the Fort Worth Stockyards have it all! Check out these ten awesome things you don’t want to miss when visiting! 1. Stockyards Station

The heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, Stockyards Stations is a mix of old and new, with walking tours, unique shops, and plenty of other activities! You’ll never go hungry as you shop to your heart’s desire. Don’t miss the twice-daily cattle drive in front of the Livestock Exchange Building!

2. Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

Housed in one of the horse and mule barns in the Stockyards, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame honors men and women who have shown support of the Western lifestyle in Texas. There are over 100 inductees, each of whom has their own booth that contains memorabilia for guests to view.

3. Billy Bob's Texas

Known as “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk,” Billy Bob’s is home to several dance floors, musical stages, arcade games, billiards tables, a small indoor arena, and much more! Don’t worry if you can’t dance, Billy Bob’s offers free line dancing lessons every Thursday night.

4. The Stockyards Museum

Located inside the Historic Livestock Exchange Building, The Stockyards Museum displays artifacts, photos, and exhibits that showcase the history of the Fort Worth Stockyards. With exhibits on everything from Fort Worth’s Native American connections, the Chisholm Trail, the livestock market and more, you’re sure to learn something new about Fort Worth!

5. Stockyards Petting Zoo

The Stockyards Petting Zoo is the perfect activity for the entire family to enjoy together! There is a wide variety of animals, and lots of babies in the spring. Visitors even have the opportunity to feed the animals!

6. Cowtown Opry,

The Cowtown Opry provides western music shows in the National Historic District, which are free to the public, including vintage and contemporary music, Texas music, and Western swing. The Cowtown Opry can be found at the Livestock Exchange Building almost every Sunday at 2pm!

7. Cowtown Winery

With over 20 award-winning varieties of wine to choose from, Cowtown Winery provides a luxury wine-tasting experience. You can also choose to attend a blending class or winery tour, as well as, participate in the many events that Cowtown Winery hosts throughout the year.

8. Stockyards Ghost Tours

Is spooky stuff more your thing? Try a Stockyards Ghost Tour, presented by Cowtown Winery. The Ghost Tour is a 90-minute walking tour through the Stockyards, which is has some of the most active paranormal activity in the United States. Stops along the tour include The Cadillac Hotel, Miss Molly’s B & B, and The Stockyards Hotel.

9. Joe T. Garcia's

Founded in 1935, Joe T. Garcia’s is a Fort Worth staple. Be sure to grab a seat on the famous outdoor patio when the weather is nice and enjoy their legendary margaritas; it’s totally worth any wait time!

10. Riscky's BBQ,

Riscky’s is some of the best BBQ you can get anywhere in Fort Worth. It’s hand-rubbed with “Riscky Dust” and slow smoked for hours, and has become a legend in Texas BBQ over the past 75 years.
