Rodeo Austin is up and running and its something you’re not going to want to miss out on. The family-friendly event, which opened March 10th and closes the 24th, has something for everyone.
If you’re taking the kids make sure to check out Kidstown. Located on the Northside of the Fairgrounds, your kids will enjoy the petting zoo, pony rides, butterfly exhibit, and parakeet counter. They can even take a picture on a longhorn or learn about dairy farming.
Rodeo Austin also has Austin’s largest Carnival. You can play games and explore the rides. Other things patrons may be interested in is the shopping, food, and Wild West Show. But you can’t forget the main attraction, the rodeo!
As one of the top five ranked rodeos in March, you can be sure that the top talent will show up to compete. Bareback riding, bull riding, and tie down roping are just a few of the events to attend. And if you can’t make it, stay tuned for our blog on the winners once the rodeo wraps up!
