The Patriot: A Recap
This past week I had the opportunity to attend the Patriot Event in the amazing Fort Worth, Texas. This event was an absolute blast to attend, with amazing food, people and exciting events to watch. As a Reiner myself who often gets nervous running fast circles I was really blown away by the speed and agility of the horses and riders at this event.
One of my favorite parts of this event was the location; Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, TX. Being just minutes away from great equine events is definitely a bonus of living in Fort Worth. Along with all the food and shopping located in Will Rogers, there are also many great restaurants and shops in this area of Fort Worth.
The city of Fort Worth also appreciates its visitors and vendors. For being a participating vendor at this event, we received boot jacks! This gift has already been used many times in my house.
Another part I loved about being at the Patriot was the fact that we were located just feet from a Starbucks! At events, days for competitors and vendors tend to get long, so sometimes coffee breaks are necessary.
I found all the events very fun to watch, but one thing I was very impressed with was how well behaved the rope horses were. They all stood in close proximity and didn't kick or bite one another!
Overall, my experience at the Patriot was delightful. I met some great people who stopped by the booth to chat about RIDE TV Go (RIDE TV's new online streaming service - www.RIDETVGo.com). I ate Coburn’s BBQ and drank Starbucks while watching some talented horses and riders!
