National Ag Day: Cinco’s Story Behind the Scenes
For our National Ag Day video, we decided to head West and showcase the Saunder’s family VV Ranch in Weatherford, Texas. More specifically, we interviewed Thomas “Cinco” Saunders, a sixth generation rancher, who is proud of his upbringing and couldn’t imagine living life any differently. He also talked about how horses have played an integral role the family business. RIDE on the Road host, Meg Drake, headed out with our production crew to capture the magic.
First off, if you happened to miss our National Ag Day video that premiered on our Facebook page on Tuesday, watch it below!
Meg was up bright and early as filming started at 7:00am, which means she was able to get some great sunrise shots.
You may recognize this photo already from our Instagram page. Meg has talent both in front of the camera, as well as, behind it.
Next, it was time to capture the cutting horses in action.
RIDE TV’s producer, Tim Stevens (tan jacket), and the rest of the production team getting all the action on camera.
Meg was also able to peek through the gate to get this aesthetically pleasing shot.
Aside from action, Meg roamed the grounds and got more beautiful photos of the VV Ranch.
The sign reads “No Trespassing” but I don’t think the Saunders’ minded for our shoot! :-P
We had to rearrange a little bit to get this beauty.
We will definitely be putting this baby on our Instagram page, which we will definitely be using #nofilter for.
Lastly, we leave you with another amazing sunrise on the VV Ranch.
We love to be able to share stories such as the Saunders and see how horses are playing a role in their family’s lives. Be sure to like us on Facebook to see more videos like this one. As “Cinco” stated, he’s proud of his “heritage, country cows, grass and horses,” and so are we!
