Hey #RIDENation,

We asked each of our talent to submit their very own #MeetMyHorse profiles. First up is This Old Horse show host, Carly Twisselman. When Carly isn’t busy filming for RIDE TV, you can often find her on the rodeo road with barrel horse Chanel and trusty companion Tid Bit.

I compete professionally with her. We go from rodeo to rodeo, barrel racing.

What makes your horse stand out from other horses?

She has a really neat blaze on her face that looks like a cross or a cactus. She also has a super big stride.

If you could take your horse anywhere in the world, where would you both go and why?

If I could take her anywhere that I haven’t already it would be to the NFR.

If your horse could talk, what do you think he/she would say to you? Why?

If Chanel could talk she would tell me that she loves to have lots of friends and she hates to travel alone. Also that she would appreciate it if I would stay out of her way and let her do her job.

If you could take your horse anywhere in the world, where would you both go and why?

I take her anywhere Chanel goes. I’d love to be taking her to Las Vegas to the NFR.

If your horse could talk, what do you think he/she would say to you? Why?

She would tell me that she loves treats and to eat all the time and that she hates it when I take Chanel away from her when I’m competing.
