Intern Meet & Greet: Tatum Holdener

Hey “y’all!” (I’m from California, so I’m glad I can finally say that without getting looked at). I am the newest marketing and communications intern here at RIDE TV this summer. I am excited to get started and learn more about the industry through this position.

My story begins by being raised on a row crop farm in Tracy, California. At a young age I developed a strong passion for the western way of life, including the agriculture and livestock industries, which led me to pursue my education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly).

I am an agricultural communications senior at Cal Poly where I am working to further my skills in the realm of advocating for agriculture. I currently serve as the media chair for Cal Poly’s Western Bonanza, the largest junior livestock show on the West Coast. I also love trying my hand at new photography skills and writing feature stories for Cal Poly’s AgCircle magazine.

If I’m not on campus, I can be found at my CrossFit gym, testing out new Pioneer Woman recipes or exploring the Central Coast of California.  I am a firm believer that travel and live music is good for the soul. I never miss a chance to travel or experience new things, so I am looking forward to adventuring all over Texas this summer. A few of my favorite TV shows are: Fixer Upper, Scandal and of course Pioneer Woman.

My older sister, Katy, and I are blessed to have the most amazing and supportive parents in the world who taught us the values of hard work and discipline. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend the summer here at RIDE TV, and I hope to learn and grow as much as possible.
