Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Style Guide
The holiday season is over and all of the big stock shows are underway. One of my favorites each year takes place right in RIDE TV’s backyard— the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, which continues now through Saturday, February 4th. Although the show is indoors, the long-term forecast says the temperature will rock from the mid- to upper seventies to lows in the high thirties— so don’t forget that jacket!
If you’re wondering what else to wear, check out these two fresh looks I put together for inspiration! Luckily, several of the items can be found right in Fort Worth!
1. 1. I love how earthy this look is! This Double D Ranchwear Tacosa hat, which can be bought in the Stockyards at Maverick Fine Western Wear is a huge show stopper! The pretty brooch hatband pairs well with the geode necklaces and ring I found on Etsy, and the lilac colored fingernail polish from Essie is a nice contrast in color. The tank can be found at shopmidnightrider.com, and the corduroy flare bottoms at freepeople.com or at the Free People storefront in town. The longline hooded denim jacket is from Forever21.com, or you might be able to snag it in store at Hulen Mall. Get even more western with these Y Knot Branded platform shoes which are found at http://www.reinerwear.com/.
2. This look is vintage, fun, and incredibly ‘Fort Worth’! I’m a sucker for cheap shopping and I love the originality of a good vintage find! The trucker hat and Native American beaded necklace are pieces that can be found at thrift stores, Goodwills, Etsy, etc. The rodeo tee is another cool shirt from Bandit Brand, and the wide leg flare jeans are from Free People. The beaded rope bracelets look best stacked, and similar can be found at Etsy. The perfume roller is from Auric Blend, and comes in several different hippie-esque scents!
