The Everyday Cowgirl [Savannah sevens] Style
Let’s be honest… There’s not a cowgirl around that has time to get a daily shower, don full hair and makeup, and put together the perfect outfit each morning. It’s just not reality -- I mean, eating and sleeping has to happen sometime, right? In truth, we consider it a huge success if we get two out of four on any given day -- and that “might” happen 50% of the time.
With that being said, our “everyday cowgirl” style has become a mix of tried and true staples that can handle the daily test of versatility we so often seem to find ourselves in. From the branding pen and exercising our barrel horses to the occasional dinner, happy hour or ranch rodeo with friends, here’s a look at some of our go-tos for this summer [and really any] season.
1). Keep It Wild - Everyone needs a good graphic tee (or six), and it’s probably a little embarrassing if we really think about it, the number of times you’ll catch us in one. Here’s what we love about the best graphic tees: They can handle any occasion. Throw it on in the morning with some fun earrings, distressed skinnies and your favorite booties for a casual (and comfy) day look that can also take you into happy hour. OR when 5pm rolls around and it’s time to load up for that local jackpot? Simply swap out the denim and boots and you’re ready to roll.

2). Pocket Tees and Kimes Ranch Caps - As mentioned above, it’s a really (and I mean REALLY) rare occasion when we get both hair and makeup done before walking out the door. No worries though, between Kimes Ranch caps and Warbonnet Hat Works, no one really even notices that our locks are due for a wash. And don’t even get us started on this perfect pocket tee… it really is everything it’s cracked up to be -- especially in this summer shade of mineral blue. Here’s the skinny on this style… Summer day to summer night and the only thing you need to swap out is your lid and your boots. Ranch all day, concert all night. Boom. Done.

3). Dusty Rose and The Marina Del Rey - Our trip to Dallas Market this Spring was a success to say the least. Not only did we happen upon this Saguaro tank in our favorite shade of dusty rose, but we also had the opportunity to sit down with the fine folks from Warbonnet Hat Works and design The Marina Del Rey -- a hat that we’ve seriously fallen IN LOVE with and goes with all things sunshine and summertime. In this look, it really is that hat that makes the statement. Rock The Cactus tank (dusty rose) and some jeans and boots all day, and throw on your hat for the evening festivities when your look needs a little extra pop of life.

4). Denim Shorts and Subtle Details - Solid tanks with just the right details are some of our absolute favorites -- and The Lambert tank fits the bill to perfection! We love this look because it goes great with jeans and boots for full day of working the horses, or for the rare occasion when we get to attend the county fair or summer music festival, we can throw on our favorite denim shorts and Bed Stu sandals. All function, no fuss -- and still look the part. ;)

Well, that pretty much sums it up on our everyday cowgirl style. Nothing too exciting, but we still like to think it’s got a little fun in it. When it comes to ranch, rodeo, cowgirl life, it’s mostly about what we need to wear to get the job done -- but we like to think we can still have some fun with it in the process. We hope you enjoyed it and be sure to check out our website for more looks and styles!
Til next time,
