Spring Closet Essentials for the Western Equestrian

Hey #RIDENation!

For those of you that are looking for comfort and style in the saddle, I want to share some of the staples that I wear in the spring to work and ride my horses in! #RIDEInStyle!

1. Rodeo King Straw Hats

I spend more money on my felt hats, but with straw hats I could almost care less! I’ve had luck with Rodeo King- their straws fit me well, keep me cool, and are affordable. Get a new style each season! This is the one I currently wear:

2. Men’s Wrangler Retro Jeans

These are my favorite jeans to ride in! I accidently purchased a pair online, and have been hooked ever since. I like the durability of non-stretch denim, and the higher rise is more comfortable to ride in than the lower rise women’s jeans.

3. Boots

I’ve been through almost every brand of boot you can name, but Anderson Bean takes the cake. They’re the most comfortable and I choose to wear them every day. The leather is high quality and holds up well, making them worth the splurge.
